Shin Hye-sun faces outdated and new love in To My Hae-ri

The most recent teaser for To My Hae-ri continues the artsy streak of earlier promos, all whereas sharing a bit extra perception into the romantic relationships of our main girl with DID and her two personalities.

The teaser opens Eun-ho, performed by Shin Hye-sun (Welcome to Samdal-ri), a depressed announcer who’s within the means of calling it quits along with her boyfriend Jung Hyun-oh, performed by Lee Jin-wook (Candy Residence 3). Regardless of their eight-year relationship, it seems like neither of them may take care of the rising emotional distance (underscored by their bodily distance within the breakup scene), with Eun-ho closing the chapter on their relationship in voiceover: “I hate Hyun-oh… as a result of I can’t have him.”

In the meantime, love has simply began to bloom for Eun-ho’s alternate identification, the bubbly Hae-ri, who boldly confesses to the stoic information anchor Kang Ju-yeon, performed by Kang Hoon (A Time Referred to as You), “I such as you Ju-yeon. So I’ve began to consider you. I’ve began to marvel what you’ll do tomorrow.”

We minimize away from the pet love again to Eun-ho who asks if Hae-ri appeared glad, since her personal life appears so darkish. Nevertheless it seems like issues aren’t actually over between her and Hyun-oh both, for the reason that subsequent few scenes are of him longingly taking a look at their relationship mementos. We’re informed that Hyun-oh is a person with fairly some baggage himself, so hopefully by way of therapeutic they’ll each reunite towards a shared happiness.

We finish on Eun-ho’s remarks harkening again to the beginning of the teaser: “Are you aware how a lot it’s important to hate one thing so as to hand over what you’ve all the time wished?” And we’re left to marvel who she means by that. Hyun-oh? Or Hae-ri?

Written by Han Ga-ram (I’ll Discover You on a Stunning Day) and directed by Jung Ji-hyun (Lies Hidden in My Backyard, Twenty 5 Twenty One), ENA’s To My Hae-ri will premiere on September 23 on ENA and Genie TV.
