A brand new teaser has come out for tvN’s upcoming The Queen Who Crowns, pairing Cha Joo-young (The Actual Has Come) and Lee Hyun-wook (Track of the Bandits) in a contentious royal matrimony as Joseon’s queen and king.
Offering some context to our sageuk story, the video teaser begins in flashback, taking us again to when our aristocratic heroine and Lee Bang-won (Lee Hyun-wook) fell in love. The 2 had been married on the cusp of Goryeo’s fall, when Bang-won’s father Lee Seong-gye (later King Taejo) rose to energy and ultimately ended the earlier dynasty, founding the brand new nation of Joseon as a replacement. In voiceover, Gained-kyung (Cha Joo-young) then reveals the promise that Bang-won had as soon as made: to be like equals, all the time sharing all the pieces and doing all the pieces collectively.
