Puns abound on this mockumentary-style teaser for KBS’s upcoming weekender Iron Household. Parodying the broadcaster’s long-running collection Screening Humanity, the latest topic is a third-generation dry cleansing household with a really odd secret.
The teaser introduces the three generations working on the cleaners from grandpa Park In-hwan (Heartbeat) to daughter-in-law Park Ji-young (Love Subsequent Door) and at last, the present’s namesake, granddaughter Lee Da-rim performed by Geum Sae-rok (Soundtrack #2). Her identify sounds just like “iron” in Korean, and that’s precisely what Da-rim does regardless of not having the ability to see.
When the filming crew asks her if it isn’t harmful for somebody with visible impairments to iron, she tells them that it’s wonderful since she has been doing this from a younger age. The crew then calls reduce, however at that second, a wierd noise attracts their consideration. The digital camera whips to the facet and catches grandma Kim Younger-ok (The Pork Cutlets) ironing, not garments however money. She fortunately tells them that she is laundering cash, however then realizes her mistake a second too late and blocks the digital camera from filming.
Dropping the documentary crew, the teaser reveals snippets of what could have transpired to trigger this wacky state of affairs, and we see main man Kim Jung-hyun (Kokdu: Season of Deity) carrying his mother Kim Hye-eun (Not Others) whereas she cries, “Thief!” It appears her cash could also be on the dry cleaners as Grandpa opens a washer and finds money flowing out of it like water.
Da-rim’s household apparently are huge believers in not wanting a present horse within the mouth as everybody smiles at this sudden stroke of luck.
